Are your labels durable / waterproof?

Yes, our labels are made with the highest quality materials possible so they can withstand the many challenges of the children's environments. Our labels are made with a special backing which will stick to almost any flat surface. All of our multi-purpose labels are dishwasher and microwave safe, while our clothing labels are washer, dryer and bleach safe. Please refer to individual product pages for detailed information on the benefits of each label type.

How many text characters can fit on a label?

For legibility our system allows for 12 characters on the first line and 15 character on the second line. BONUS: You now have the ability to resize the text on your labels to get the look you like best! Feel free to play around with different character limits to get the look you like best.

Have a long name? Not a problem! Many of our customers use one set of labels for the whole family. To ensure clarity of your name, many customers use only their last name ie: "Smith." Alternatively, some customers choose to use first name initials in addition to their last name ie: "A & B Smith." Our labels accommodate a variety of special characters to suit your needs best, so please feel free to personalize them however you like!

I need labels for ALL of my kids, what is the best value for my money?

If you need a variety of multi-purpose labels check out our Value Packs tab for great savings. We have different packages throughout the year to suit your needs, such as our Daycare Packs, Starter Packs. Also available seasonal are our Camp Packs and Back to School Packs.

Have 2 kids? We now also offer Split Packs! 1 Large Value Pack, 2 Names! Perfect for siblings!

If none of our value packs suit your needs we now offer a NEW “Create Your Own” pack feature! Simply select the "Create Your Own" tab and follow the instructions provided. With this feature you can add up to 10 unique items (with a minimum of 3) and customize designs with multiple names. As an added bonus, you'll save an automatic 15% when you create your own pack!


 

Press n' Stick Clothing DOTS™ vs. Iron-on Labels - What's the Difference?

We offer 3 different kinds of laundry-safe clothing labels: Iron-on Labels, Press n' Stick Clothing DOTS™ and Mini DOTS™. If most of your garments have a care tag (the tag with the washing instructions) then you will appreciate how easy the Press n' Stick Clothing DOTS™ and Mini DOTS™ are to use. They peel and stick directly to the garment's care tag - no ironing or sewing! The package comes with 2 sizes (small and medium) to suit and accommodate all types of garment tag sizes. The medium DOTS are great for jackets and larger items! They are washer, dryer and even bleach safe!

For clothing items which do not have care tags (e.g. socks, tag-less shirts, etc.) we recommend our Iron-On Labels, which are designed to adhere directly onto the fabric of the garment. Please note: Iron-On Labels can only be used on fabric which can normally be ironed (e.g. Cotton, Linen, etc.).


 

Why are my Press n' Stick Clothing Dots falling off in the wash?

Our Press n' Stick Clothing Dots are designed to stick! However to get the best results they MUST be applied to the garment or care tag. We cannot guarantee your labels will stick if applied directly to the fabric. After applying your Press n' Stick Dots please wait 24 hours before washing. Have tagless clothes needing to be labeled? Can Iron-on Labels or Press n' Stick Clothing DOTS be removed?

As our Iron-on labels are specifically designed to be durable and withstand harsh environments, and because every fabric is different, we cannot guarantee you will be able to remove our Iron-on labels once they have been applied to your garment. If you will be reselling, donating, or "handing-down" your children's clothing in the future, your best choice would be the Press n' Stick Clothing DOTS™, which easily apply to the care tag of the garment. When you are ready to remove the label, simply cut off the care tag!


 

How do I re-use Write-On labels?

To use our Write-On labels ensure the labels surface is clean, dry and free of any oily substance. Use a permanent marker (we recommend Sharpie brand) to write your message, wait for the ink to dry. When you are ready to change the message simply clean the label using a cotton ball and acetone based nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol. After removing the ink wipe the surface of the label dry and write your new message!


 

How large are your wristbands?

Both our Vital ID and Medical Wristbands are 10 inches in length and have a one inch width at the widest point (where the information card is inserted). The Wristbands will fit a wrist up to 5”- 6” (13cm - 15cm) in circumference and are adjustable as they use Velcro!

We also offer KID Bands, which are single-use disposable wristbands which are adjustable, water resistant, and tear proof. Great for a family vacation or a field trip!


 

Do you make labels for adults?

Our labels have many uses and can be used for everyone! We now offer a Seniors Pack great for loved ones living in a care home. Our Seniors Pack includes 86 labels in 4 simple designs.

With a variety of designs to choose from, adults can personalize their labels with colors such as Classic Black, Radical Red, Nautical Blue, Lollipop and much more. Our Slimline labels and Press n' Stick Clothing DOTS™ are most popular - don't forget you can choose any wording, not just your name (e.g. Business Name, Blog Title, email address, etc.).

For your home or office we do carry Household Labels which can help you organize your personal belongings. Some of our customer favorites are Wire Tags, Crafty Mom Labels and Home Office Labels. We also have Stationery products such as Return Address Labels which are great for everyone.


 

Do you have any ongoing discounts available?

Why isn’t my credit card working on your site, it works on other sites?

You may have an international block on your credit card. Even though we offer checkout in USD, we are a Canadian company and transactions on our website originate from Canada.

Please contact your card provider and ask them to remove the block, even if temporarily.

Yes! Please contact customerservice@lovablelabels.ca with your request and we would be happy to work with you.


 

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes, custom orders can be placed by phone or by e-mailing hello@lovablelabels.ca with the details of your order. To ensure a quick response, please provide us the following details so we can help serve you better:

1. The size of the labels you are looking for.
2. The design of the labels you are looking for.
3. A copy of your custom logo, if applicable (please note, a vector format is preferred).
4. The quantity of labels you need.
5. The purpose/use of the labels (ie: I need waterproof labels).

All custom orders are subject to a minimum $25.00 design fee and will be quoted on an individual basis.


 

Can I use iOS or Android Emoji's On My Labels?

If you are ordering using an iOS or Android device if you select an Emoji when typing in your name, the emoji will display online. However, these are not text objects and therefore will not be displayed on the final product of your labels.


 

Do you offer "Chinese" characters?

Chinese and Arabic characters are now available on all products!

To create your label in Chinese or Arabic Characters all you need to do is:

• Select your language from the first drop down menu when customizing your labels
• Select font (Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese) *please note only one font is available for Arabic
• Type in the character you'd like (Don't forget to switch your keyboard to the appropriate language!)

Please remember that the labels will print exactly as you preview them. You cannot select a standard font (ie. Original, Trendy, etc.) if you have selected the Chinese font - only one font selection per order.


 

 

Do you offer a green fundraising program?

Through our Online Fundraiser program, we offer an eco-friendly option to suit your school or group. Our Programs Coordinator will send you electronic materials to promote your fundraiser rather than using printed flyers. For more information about our Fundraiser Programs, please click HERE.


 

How do I place an order through a fundraiser?

To place an order through a fundraiser please make sure you are using the fundraiser URL provided. When you go to check out please check your browser address bar reads "YOURFUNDRAISER.lovablelabels.ca" this will ensure 20% of the your order will go to the fundraiser. If you do not have a URL for your fundraiser please fill in the "Agent/Fundraiser Name" in your Billing Information.

Where do I enter my Coupon Code/Gift Card?

Once you add your item(s) and view your shopping cart, a Discount Code/Gift Card field will be on the first page where you can apply/enter this code.


 

What payment methods can I use for my order?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal, and Cheque.

Once we receive your cheque we require up to 5 days for the payment to clear before your order can be printed. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped. Please make sure your cheque is to Lovable Labels Inc.


 

Why is my currency already selected?

Your currency is automatically selected for you based on your IP address. You can manually change your currency at any time using the drop down menu at the top of the page.


 

Why does my credit card provider charge me a fee when I purchase items from another country?

Some credit card providers in the United States apply a nominal transaction fee to international purchases. While this charge is unrelated to Lovable Labels, it often appears on credit card statements as: International Transaction Fee – Lovable Labels. The transaction fee is not a charge from Lovable Labels – it is a charge directly from your credit card provider. If you have questions about the fee, please contact your provider directly.


 

What is a CVN - Credit Card Verification Number?

The CVN is a security code which is visible, in print, on either the front or the back of all major credit cards. For Visa and MasterCard, the card code is a separate 3 digit number located on the back of your card on or above your signature line (The panel will contain either your entire card number followed by the three-digit code OR the last four digits of your card number followed by the three-digit code).

The purpose of this code is to help validate a genuine card is being used during a transaction, especially in situations like mail orders, telephone orders or internet orders where the physical card is not present. The CVN is uniquely associated with the plastic card is issued to the Cardholder and is never printed on a receipt or cardholder statement, nor may it be stored in a merchants' computer system.


 

Why Do I Get A Security Message That Prevents Me From Placing An Order?

If you are experiencing difficulty placing an order and receive a security related message it may be because you are using an outdated browser. We highly recommend updating your browser to the newest version or trying a different browser to process your payment. For security reasons our website will deny users that are using web browsers that are not up to date.


 

Is my personal information protected?

We are committed to your privacy. Lovable Labels Inc. will never share any of your personal information with anyone. We send our customer newsletter by email to customers who request to be added to our mailing list. You can remove yourself from the mailing list at any time. You may also be contacted by us if we have a question regarding an order you have placed. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at hello@lovablelabels.ca.


 

What is your refund policy?

If you are unhappy with your products for any reason, or have made a mistake on your order simply send them back within 15 days and we will happily give you a full exchange or refund. All returns and exchanges are shipped back to Lovable Labels at the customer's expense, no exchange or refund will be processed until the original order has been returned to the Lovable Labels office. We will refund the order amount minus the shipping fee charged on your order. All returns and cancellations are subject to a service fee.

If we have made a mistake on your order, we will reprint it and ship the replacements to you at no charge.


 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, orders may be cancelled within 24 with no repercussions. Any orders cancelled more than 24 hours after the order is placed will be subject to a $5.00 service fee. If your order has already been shipped it cannot be cancelled, please refer to our Refunds and Exchanges policy.


 

Can I change my order?

Yes, we would be happy to change your order. Due to our quick turnaround time, order change requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the time your order was placed Please contact our Customer Service Department by phone 1-866-327-5683 ex. 419 or email customerservice@lovablelabels.ca, we are available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm EST.


 

When will I receive my order?

We strive to ship out orders the next business day. Occasionally, some orders may take longer. We want to ensure your labels are just right! For this reason, during promotions, sales or peak seasons (July, August, September and December) please expect orders to be shipped up to 3 business days after the order has been placed. We appreciate your patience during these busy times.

An email will be sent to you once your order has shipped. If you selected an Express or Priority service during checkout, a tracking number will be emailed to you along with the shipping company's website so you can track your order online. My order hasn't arrived, what should I do?

Please check the date on your Shipping Confirmation email and refer to our Shipping Chart. Please remember the estimated shipping time is in Business Days, this does not include weekends. Any holidays may add extra shipping time to your order.

If your order is over the estimated shipping time please contact us at customerservice@lovablelabels.ca or by phone at 1-866-327-5683 ex 419. Please have your Sales Order Number ready, this will help us find your order faster.

Sometimes, packages take a little longer than expected to arrive. We appreciate your patience while we track down your order through the postal service.


 

Why is my tracking number not included in my shipping confirmation?

Canada Post regular mail and USPS First Class mail do not come with tracking information. To track your package you will need to upgrade to Express or Priority shipping. Please refer to our Shipping Chart for shipping times and prices.


 

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been placed?

We would be happy to change your shipping address, however due to our quick turnaround time, any request to change the shipping address must be submitted within 24 hours of the time your order was placed. Once an order has been shipped we are not able to change the shipping information. Please contact our Customer Service Department by phone 1-866-327-5683 ex. 419 or email customerservice@lovablelabels.ca; we are available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm EST.


 

Help! My Discount Code isn't working!

If you're having difficulty adding a discount code to your order, please contact our Customer Service Department to check the accuracy of the code you are using. Please note Lovable Labels is not responsible for the accuracy of content published on couponing or deal websites.

Coupon codes and Gift Cards cannot be applied to previously placed orders and we are not obligated to extend sales or promotions past the expiration date for any reason.

What should I do?We have tried to make our ordering process as easy as possible. If you are a customer from the United States your credit card may be blocked against International transaction and you may need to call the 1-800 on the back of your credit card.
